Therapist Rachel Stern’s style of help isn’t accepted by her peers, but it’s exactly what her client, Erik, needs. Rachel’s colleagues criticize her compassionate approach and threaten to medicate and commit Erik to the psychiatric wing, against his will. With the support of one doctor, Rachel must stand up to the team, prove she can help Erik heal, and stop the attack on her professional reputation.

This is a really great story! There’s great dialogue throughout. It kept me on the edge of my chair. I like the premise: Rachel’s style of help isn’t well accepted by her peers, but it is exactly what one man needs. I like Rachel and her drive and I like that she’s willing to go against the flow to help her patient.
