Re: Censorship and Consideration of Diverse Opinions
Having the vaccine should be a matter of choice!
I would like to think we live in a pluralistic society.
A pluralistic society is a diverse one where the people in it “believe all kinds of different things and tolerate each other’s beliefs even when they don’t match their own.” Lexico – An UK dictionary. It is “a society composed of different ethnic groups or cultural traditions, or in the political structure of which ethnic or cultural differences are reflected.” — Vocabulary.com
I’ve read many articles and watched many videos from my selection of uncensored information. Here are some thoughts that resonate with me:
Should you get vaccinated?
Steve Kirsch says:
“What I find deeply disturbing is the lack of transparency on how dangerous the current COVID vaccines are. Healthy people could end up dead or permanently disabled at a rate that is ‘off the chart’” compared with any other vaccine in our history. Look at the death report in our government’s official Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System (VAERS) summarized in the tweet below. This is the most deadly vaccine we’ve ever made by a long shot. That’s why they have to give you incentives to get vaccinated. They need to vaccinate everyone BEFORE people read this article or watch this video of Dr. Peter McCullough explaining clearly why the current COVID vaccines are unsafe and completely unnecessary for our children.”
FACE COVERINGS AS EMBLEMATIC
Delivering a fear narrative through the media has been harmful and counterproductive.
Nor do the government’s face covering policies seem driven by scientific evidence of their effectiveness in infection control. Such policies generate a level of fear necessary for compliance.
“There is no robust evidence showing that wearing a face covering (particularly cloth or standard surgical masks) is effective against transmission of airborne respiratory pathogens.” Several high profile institutions and individuals are aware of this and have advocated against face coverings during this pandemic only to reverse their advice without providing evidence or scientific justification. On the other hand, there is plenty of evidence suggesting that mask wearing can cause harm, both physical and mental. This has been particularly distressing for the nation’s school children who have been encouraged by government policy and their schools to wear masks for long periods at school.
Finally, the use of face coverings is highly symbolic and thus counterproductive. Prolonged wearing includes risks. Also, masking can become an ingrained safety behavior, actually preventing people from getting back to normal. They incorrectly attribute their safety to the act of mask wearing and don’t realize that the risk of catching the virus and becoming seriously ill is remote and not dependent on their mask.
I’m sharing the links below because they best articulate my Point of view regarding the governments’ handling of the pandemic and the covid19 vaccine.
